the warm up

Yes I am still up...finishing up on projects. My eyes are still wide open for now... so I am just going to put my workout gear on and get started. I changed my routine a little for my pre-jogging warm up.

8 sets of 8 sitting leg straddle stretches in 3 directions. forward, to the left and to the right

5 sets of 8 flaps from the sitting leg butterflies

5 sets of 5 big arm circles

8 sets of 5 repititions- a partial crunch lifting my head without lifting my back, 1 full crunch curling my back and lifting my head to my knees, and 1 crunch lying flat on my back and lifting my knees to my head

8 sets of 5 repititions - arm curls with 8 pound weights in each fist

5 sets of 5 repititions on each side- a quick fist jab, a knee to chest raise and a head level high kick that I picked up from a Tae Bo fitness tape.

Now I get a glass of lemon water and wait for 7am sunrise to go for a jog before work. Let me grab my ipod to fire me up! Nina Sky and Sean Paul... you get me pumped every time :-)
